Digital Products, Activation Keys and Pre-Orders Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains the terms applying to digital products, activation keys, subscriptions and pre-orders sold through the GAMINIO online store. It supplements the website Terms and Conditions, Returns Policy and Shipping Policy without reducing any mandatory rights available under applicable Saudi law.

1. Digital product scope

Digital products include, without limitation, game and software keys, activation codes, digital top-up cards, subscriptions, licences, downloadable content, and any product delivered electronically rather than physically shipped.

2. Compatibility before purchase

Customers must review the platform, device, region, account type, edition, language, technical requirements and any other restrictions shown on the product page before purchase. These details form part of the product description.

3. Platform and region restrictions

Some codes operate only on a specific platform, store region or account type. Where those restrictions are clearly disclosed before purchase, the customer is responsible for selecting the version compatible with the intended account and device.

4. Digital delivery method

A digital product may be delivered to the registered email address, order page, customer account, or another electronic method stated at purchase. Customers are responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address.

5. Digital delivery time

The expected delivery time is disclosed where material. Delivery may be immediate or may require payment review, security verification, or manual processing depending on the product.

6. Protecting activation keys

Customers must keep activation keys and codes confidential and should not publish or publicly share them. Once delivered to the contact method or account associated with the order, the code should be treated as sensitive information that may be redeemable once or a limited number of times.

7. Revealed or used keys

After a key has been revealed to the customer in a manner that enables use, activated, used, or the customer has begun receiving the benefit of the digital content, the product may not be eligible for return or exchange due to its nature where permitted by law, unless it is defective, not as described, or another mandatory right applies.

If the key has not yet been revealed, activated, or used, the customer may request cancellation, which will be assessed based on fulfilment status, the nature of the product, and applicable legal rights.

8. Invalid keys

If a key appears invalid or previously used before delivery to the customer, the customer should provide a clear image of the error, the date and time of the activation attempt, and any reasonably requested supporting information without disclosing sensitive data. GAMINIO may verify the matter with the supplier or relevant provider. Once verified, the remedy may include correcting the issue, providing an equivalent replacement key, offering another alternative with the customer's approval, or refunding the amount due if a valid digital product cannot be provided.

9. Verifying claims that a key was previously used

If the platform reports that a key was previously used, GAMINIO may request documentation, a platform response, or supplier evidence showing the key status or activation date and time where available, in order to verify whether the use occurred before the key was delivered to the customer.

10. Account or platform issues

Account restrictions, bans, region mismatches, device incompatibility, or platform-owner limitations are not defects in the digital product where the code itself is valid and the compatibility requirements were clearly disclosed before purchase. Products not matching their description remain subject to applicable customer rights.

11. Platform policy changes

PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and other platform owners may change their terms, regions, features or activation processes. GAMINIO does not control such platform-side changes, but remains responsible for the accuracy of what was described and sold at the time of purchase.

12. Subscriptions and time-limited services

A subscription term may begin on activation or as otherwise stated for the product. Customers should review the duration, any platform-side auto-renewal terms, and account requirements.

13. Digital product pricing and promotions

The confirmed order price applies unless there is an obvious material pricing error or another lawful reason for correction. Supplier price changes or expired promotions do not automatically amend confirmed orders except as permitted by law and with any required customer approval.

14. Fraud prevention and verification

GAMINIO may temporarily hold digital delivery for reasonable payment, order-owner, or fraud-risk verification where needed to protect the customer and the store. GAMINIO does not request account passwords, verification codes, or full payment-card details.

15. What is a pre-order?

A pre-order is a purchase made before a product becomes available for physical shipment or digital delivery. Products sold this way are identified as Pre-order on the website.

16. Expected availability date

An availability or release date shown for a pre-order is based on information available from the manufacturer, publisher or supplier unless it is expressly stated to be a confirmed and binding date.

The release date may differ from the date the product reaches GAMINIO or the fulfilment party, and both may differ from the dispatch date or the date the customer receives the order. These dates should not be assumed to be identical unless expressly stated on the product page.

17. Release-date changes

Release or availability dates may change due to the manufacturer, publisher, supplier, transportation, regulatory action, or other circumstances beyond GAMINIO's direct control. If GAMINIO becomes aware of an expected material delay affecting fulfilment, the customer will be informed of the available information where reasonably possible, including an updated estimate or applicable options.

18. When pre-order shipping begins

For physical products, shipping preparation begins once inventory reaches GAMINIO or the relevant fulfilment party and is ready to dispatch. A release date does not necessarily mean every customer order will be delivered on that same date.

19. Allocation and limited quantities

Some pre-orders may be subject to limited supplier allocation. If the supplier reduces allocation or the confirmed quantity cannot be supplied for a reason outside GAMINIO's direct control, GAMINIO will contact the customer with available options, which may include waiting, selecting an alternative with the customer's approval, or refund of the amount due. A different product will not be substituted automatically without the customer's approval.

20. Pre-order bonuses and promotional gifts

Some pre-orders may include bonuses such as digital DLC, a special edition item, gift, or promotional accessory. These bonuses are subject to what is announced by the manufacturer, publisher or supplier and to allocated quantities. If a bonus was a material part of the advertised offer at purchase and later becomes unavailable, the matter will be handled according to the nature of the offer, applicable customer rights, and available options.

21. Payment for pre-orders

Pre-orders may be charged when the order is placed unless stated otherwise. Payment reserves the order subject to expected availability and the conditions disclosed for the product, while preserving applicable cancellation and delay rights.

22. Price changes after pre-order

Customers will not be charged an additional amount solely because the product price increases after order confirmation without any required approval. If a material change prevents fulfilment at the agreed price or specification, GAMINIO will contact the customer with appropriate options.

23. Manufacturer or publisher cancellation

If the manufacturer or publisher permanently cancels the product or supply becomes permanently unavailable, the affected part of the order will be cancelled and the amount due will be refunded using the applicable refund method.

24. Delay and cancellation rights

If a delay exceeds the period that gives the consumer a statutory right to terminate, including a delay of more than 15 days from the contract date or agreed delivery date where applicable, the consumer may exercise the applicable cancellation and refund right unless force majeure or another lawful exception applies. Where GAMINIO becomes aware of an expected material delay, the customer will be informed of the available information and updated estimate where reasonably possible.

25. Mixed orders

Where an order contains both available items and pre-order items, they may be shipped together or separately depending on the order, shipping options and operational handling. Split fulfilment may create more than one shipment or tracking number.

26. Returns, refunds and complaints

Cancellation, return and refund matters are also governed by the Returns and Refunds Policy. A complaint or review request may be submitted through the Complaints and Suggestions page.

27. Special approvals and exceptions

Any special approval or exception to this policy is not official or binding on GAMINIO unless approved in writing. If issued outside the website, it is only official and binding if sent from Support@gaminio.com.
